These are not interchangeable categories. They're layers of a project. And the order matters: substrate first, waterproofing and/or primer, then coating, and often a top coat last.
How Do I Avoid Getting the Wrong Material on a Deadline?
Ask for the exact grade. That sounds obvious, but when I'm triaging a rush order, I see more problems from 'the same thing' than from wrong product categories. 'ALPOLIC' is not enough. 'hydrophobic polymer' is not enough. 'Shower waterproofing' is not enough.
