Sulfate vs Sulfuric Acid: This Is Not a Spelling Preference

Here's something I learned the expensive way. Sulfate and sulfuric acid sound related, but they are not interchangeable. Sulfate is an anion, SO4^2-, and when you buy 'sulfate' you're usually buying a salt, like sodium sulfate or ammonium sulfate. Sulfuric acid is H2SO4, a highly corrosive, regulated mineral acid. White Leather Paint: A Coating System, Not a Single Product

A white leather paint system usually means a pigmented basecoat and a clear topcoat, and the chemistry of the binder is the whole game.
